Enova Medical Technologies Launches the Halo™ Cordless LED Surgical Headlight

Halo is Enova’s First Proprietary Product in the Surgical Lighting Market

St. Paul, Minn. – April 5, 2005 – Surgeons are now free to move about the operating room with the Halo™Cordless LED Surgical Headlight, the only completely cordless LED (light emitting diode) surgical headlightpowerful enough for operating room applications. Enova Medical Technologies today announced the launchof the Halo, a joint effort between Enova and VisiLED, Inc., a Vestal, N.Y. medical products company. Theexclusive partnership grants Enova rights to develop, manufacture and distribute all surgical headlightproducts using VisiLED’s proprietary technology.

Illuminated by LED technology and powered with rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, the Halo delivers bright,cool light that provides greater color and tissue differentiation than standard headlight systems. With itscordless feature, the Halo eliminates the need to tether the surgeon to a fiber optic cable and a bulky powersupply, reducing operating room logistical issues and overall maintenance for the surgical center.

The Halo is Enova’s first proprietary product in the surgical lighting market. Enova is the first and onlycompany in the cordless LED surgical headlight market.

United States patents are pending. The FDA-cleared Class I Halo is manufactured in Enova's ISO 9001,ISO 13485 certified facility in St. Paul under GMP regulations.
