For Immediate Release Enova Medical Announces Its Executive Leadership TeamBoor Boor, Heegaard, Ziglinski and Smith Ready to Lead the Organization ST. PAUL, Minn. (April 27, 2007) – Enova Medical Technologies is pleased to announce today that it has solidified its new executive leadership team and is prepared to rapidly execute the company’s high growth strategy. Effective immediately, the appointments include Fariborz Boor Boor as chief executive officer, Roger Heegaard as president and chief operations officer, Vicki Ziglinski as chief financial officer, and Stephen E. Smith as general counsel and chairman of the board. Boor Boor will lead Enova’s contract services division, new technology acquisitions, and research and development efforts. Prior to joining Enova, he served as the president and CEO of Visiled Inc., where he was responsible for the development and commercialization of the company’s revolutionary LED-based surgical headlight system and an LED-based OR overhead lighting system. Before Visiled, Boor Boor served as the executive vice president of Synovis Life Technologies, and held the position of president and COO of Synovis Interventional Solutions. During his tenure with Synovis, he led the Interventional Solutions division to adopt a new business model and develop a new line of proprietary devices, which lead to a revenue increase from $6.5 million to $32 million. Earlier in his career, Boor Boor held leadership positions at Plastech Corporation and Phillips Plastics Corporation. Heegaard will lead Enova’s consumer products, market research, and proprietary medical device sales and marketing initiatives. Before joining Enova, he was the president/CEO of MedTreo Inc., a privately-held early stage medical device company. During his tenure at MedTreo, Heegaard spearheaded efforts to develop several proprietary medical devices for the emergency medicine, OB/GYN, and general surgery markets. Prior to MedTreo, Heegaard was the president/CEO of HomeStyles, a home design and architecture publishing company, where he grew the business from $700,000 to a $16 million. Earlier in his career, he practiced law at the law firm of Schwebel, Goetz, and Sieben. Smith has practiced law in the Twin Cities continuously since 1967 with a focus on representing emerging businesses. At Enova, Steve oversees the company’s legal and regulatory business. Previously, Steve served as general counsel and vice president of Advanced Respiratory, Inc. From 1985-99, he was a shareholder in the law firm of Doherty, Rumble & Butler, at various times serving on the board of directors, the compensation committee, heading the business department, and chairing the firm’s marketing and recruiting committees.
